Urba is the only European who is currently active to have run under twenty seconds, with 19.98 in the 200m semifinals in the 1999 World Championships. He finished fifth in the Seville final.
A leading figure in the recent Polish athletics resurgence, he won the 200 metres in last winter's European Indoor Championships in Vienna.
The Universiade 200m champion last year, Urba has won every Polish 200m title since 1998.
He was a vocalist with a rock group in his native Kraków, but has recently given up that activity to concentrate fulltime on athletics.
You're coming off a good indoor season, which ended in a tight race with Christian Malcolm (GBR) for the European Championship. What do you see coming up this summer in the 200?
